More recently becoming an RSPB
sanctuary,
Ailsa Craig is home to 36,000 pairs of gannets and numerous guillemots,
blackguillemots,
razorbills and also increasing numbers of puffins; it is a must for any
ornithologist.
If conditions are suitable we will land, but a typical trip circles the Island
which gives excellent views of the colonies on the South and West of the Island.
